I stayed at this hotel last weekend. I totally disagree with the other reviews. I state that the staff is exceptional. Courteous people available to solve any problem. Truly a special commendation to all the guys at the reception. Sore button. Rooms. In fact most are without openable windows. Therefore no natural light or air if not conditioned. We have had a room with a window assigned to it. I must say that the carpet was dirty, stained. A flashy spider's web hung from the ceiling and one of the towels was broken. The supply of shampoo and soap was minimized in dispensers applied to the wall. We quietly bought back what was missing. Tea and coffee only 1 sachet per head of coffee and tea and no longer handed over the following days. The really bad thing is the area. Near the red metro Bahia Luijza. The station is a court of miracles crowded with a large number of desperate people who sleep day and night and wander like ghosts. Zero cleaning. An absurd stench. These people no longer have expectations but let it live. They don't ask for money much. On the outside the situation is identical. In the gardens opposite the shopping center. To go back to the hotel a little dark streets in the evening. Dirty as I've hardly ever seen. An incredible smell roams the area. In the evening we went out with the vehicles but strictly returned by taxi. We never had a sense of danger but we didn't feel like taking the risk. One last mention of breakfast. I would say without praise. Fruit only apples and oranges. Good yogurt and bread. The savory of the dessert is better. I'm not going back there again.
