The hotel is almost on the end of the yellow line. It has, as someone else mentioned, larger than normal European sized rooms. It was quiet as well and I wondered if anyone heard my toddler. The food was decent. There was always plenty and it was fresh. There were both hot and cold options. The decor is typical hotel with nicer floors--my room had no carpet, which was a relief. There were two things about my room: the person did not change out the dishes-tea plate. We clearly used the plates and both times they were not exchanged. I did not make a fuss because it was negligible. Second, there was no curtain or door to the shower/tub. I consciously tried not to wet the floor, which was inevitable. On the side of the tub you could see the start of water damage (slight) where the water is always lingering. We were able to discover the neighborhood two stops north at Brenta. We found Indian food, Chinese food, a Carrefour and some other things. Going south to the next stop was a downer as there is only an 'American Diner.' Even further, the area looks less inviting so North was the better option. Overall it was an okay stay.

This hotel was perfect for enjoying my stay in Milan. We were three people. We had an initial small room. A room that was originally for two people with an additional third bed (like what most hotels do when you make such a reservation). We went to the reception and we received the same day a new room which was MUCH larger. Honestly, one of the biggest rooms I have ever had! The room was really nice (with small windows that I have never seen before, it looks like windows for hobbits lol). And most of all, since we came in December, it was very cold in Milan but the heating was excellent (up to 30 degrees). The area of the hotel is not very dynamic, it is rather a quiet residential area. You have several shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby, but not much to see. The metro is also a 2-minute walk away. It is very convenient to get to the city center in a quarter of an hour (if you want to go to Dumo, MonteNapoleone, etc.). However, the problem of location resurfaced on the night of December 25th. In fact, we went out at night to enjoy Christmas in Milan. The problem is that the metro stops early that day (at 7:30 pm I think). So, we were stuck to return to the hotel. We had to take a 'train' (like the RER in Paris) to Rogoredo station. And we had to walk back about 40 minutes. It was not easy (in addition, my phone was unloaded and I couldn't use my GPS). It was not pleasant at all and it is honestly the ONLY black spot of my stay. Conclusion: if the location of a hotel is far away, and even if public transport is close to the hotel, you should always plan a backup solution for emergencies (the last solution is obviously a taxi but it's expensive). What to change for this hotel? Hard to ask to change location I guess ! The restaurant can be revisited I guess. It is very large, offers interesting menus but it is expensive and, above all, always empty... While for breakfast there are many people. The housekeeper often turned off the heating after passing (which
